The EARD6TZ is a 6" round fresh air damper that has a motor with a 24V, 8VA, and 60 Hz electrical rating.  It has a clockwise motor shaft rotation direction with a 71" oz minimum motor torque and 90° nominal angular rotation.

The air damper is suitable for regulating the circulating air in fresh air ventilation applications.  The unit can be controlled with an IAQ thermostat or different whole-house ventilation control.  The M847D-VENT spring return closed fresh air damper actuator replacement part is also available.

The EARD6TZ  directly replaces part number EARD-6.

The EARD6TZ is easy to install with a simple 2-wire design and crimped male & uncrimped female ends allowing quick connection to rigid or flexible round ducts.  It is constructed with galvanized steel and blades are closed tightly through the gasket to prevent leakage.
